Can I share my account with a friend?
You can share your account but we highly advise against it. The reasons are:
- You should never share login credentials with a third party, as this can undermine your online security.
- You are responsible for the actions your account takes. If a third party gets the account banned for rule violations, the account owner is responsible.
- Our support team will not be able to help you if you lose any in-game content or access to the account.
Hovewer, if both parties gave consent to it, we will not take any further actions when this is done without the intention to gain any advantage as opposed to normal playing.
In what cases will you ban for account sharing?
Account sharing is not intended to affect the in-game experience. This means that if you use account sharing to abuse or exploit anything in our game (e.g. playing ranked battles on a shared account, any kind of match-fixing, any other actions that give you unfair advantages) or break the rules in our EULA (Any Sale, purchase, rent, exchange, other commercial exploitations of accounts) we will investigate and take actions at our sole discretion including, but not limited to, a permanent ban of the account in question. This also applies if a third party, that you shared the account with, is responsible for these actions.
Where do these rules apply?
These are the rules we will apply regarding our services. If you have a community event, for example, a "highest damage" contest, it would be up to the fan community to implement and enforce rules for these events. We will not be able to help investigate if any player actions broke these external rules and will only intervene if our own guidelines were violated.
