World of Warships Blitz has two types of currency fueling its economy, namely silver and gold.
Silver is earned in battle or purchased with gold and is the primary in-game currency.
The second currency, gold, gives access to various premium options like, for example, the premium ships. Premium options bought will not change gameplay significantly and will not give players a decisive advantage in battle.
What can I do with gold?
Gold can also be used to purchase certain premium ships. Premium ships already are at elite status, meaning fully researched, and are great for earning credits as they receive a bonus to their credits gain and won't give you further expenses with additional modules. The income bonus is defined individually for each premium ship but the exact amounts are not published.
Gold can be used to buy the Advanced Control Kit and the Advanced Repair Kit, which come with slightly improved effects and a lower cool-down compared to their regular counterparts.
Convert Experience to Free Experience
Players with elite ships (all premium have elite status) can convert the ship's regular experience to free experience at a rate of 25 exp converted per 1 gold. While expensive in gold, one good match in a top tier vehicle will earn enough experience to immediately skip from tier I into IV in a different branch of the tech tree.
To expand your ship slots to keep more ships, players can buy slots with gold. It costs 250 gold for an additional single slot, but you can also buy more slots for a lower gold price if you buy 5 slots for 1000 gold.
While you can change your username the first time for free, any additional changes to your username can be purchased with gold only.
Change your fleet's name.
With gold, you can also change the name of your fleet if you just do not like the old one anymore.
Re-Check in for days you didn't log in
In World of Warships Blitz you get a bonus for every day you log in. The more days you log in each month the better the rewards. Should you have missed one day, you are able to use the "Re-check in" option by investing a little bit of gold, which will lower your No-show days by 1 for each payment.
