Ahoy Captains!
Update 8.4 is here, and it's packed with quality-of-life improvements, a big Wiki overhaul, a new type of event named Clash Point, and plenty of optimizations to keep battles running smooth. Let's dive in:
New Server Event: Clash Point
Choose your side—Red or Blue—and fight for your faction in a server-wide showdown!
- Preparation Stage: Pick your team (your choice is final!).
- Battle Stage: Win battles with designated ships in designated modes to earn points for your side and snag basic rewards.
- End Stage: If your side wins, you'll unlock extra rewards based on your performance.
Even better: If the event ends in a tie, both sides can claim extra rewards. So, rally your teammates and fight for victory!
Leaderboard & Stat Updates
We've cleaned up the leaderboards by removing data from non-Random Battles. Here's how it works:
- Full stat refresh during the 8.4 maintenance.
- Personal stats update after you log in.
- Fleet stats refresh for everyone, no matter whether they have logged in after Update 8.4's launch.
This should make leaderboards feel fairer and more reflective of real battles.
Battle Wiki Overhaul
We've completely reworked the in-game Wiki to make it easier to navigate.
- Every entry has been reorganized into clear categories (ships, upgrades, Commanders, combat mechanics, and more).
- Loads of new entries have been added, so you'll find details on everything from ship specialties to battle modes.
- Wiki buttons are now sprinkled across the game (Armory, Tech Tree, Missions, Controls, etc.), letting you jump straight into helpful info with a single tap.
Whether you're a seasoned Captain or brand new on the seas, the Wiki should now be your go-to source for quick answers.

December is a time for giving, celebrating victories, and sailing into the new year in style.

New Warships
Kitakami – Japanese Tier X Light Cruiser
The legend returns: Kitakami is a torpedo destroyer in cruiser form, packing a staggering 40 torpedoes in 10x4 tubes. She's fragile—with weak armor, guns, and AA—but when positioned well, her torpedo spreads are unmatched. A high-risk, high-reward ship for bold Captains who live for ambushes.
Van Speijk – Dutch Tier IX Cruiser
A fragile but fierce contender, Van Speijk brings high-efficiency airstrikes to the fight. She's designed for Captains who enjoy tactical precision: delivering heavy punishment from above while managing a delicate hull below. Her mobility may feel limited, but her striking power more than compensates when played with care.
Dmitry Pozharsky – Soviet Tier VIII Cruiser
Sister ship to Mikhail Kutuzov, Dmitry Pozharsky refines the formula with adjusted stats and enhanced skills. She keeps the classic Soviet flavor—steady firepower, dangerous utility—while offering just enough tweaks to stand apart. A reliable choice for Captains who enjoy consistency with a bit of extra flair.
Colossus – British Tier VIII Aircraft Carrier
True to her name, Colossus dominates the skies with devastating bomber groups. While her torpedo and fighter squadrons aren't as strong, her bombing runs deliver powerful strikes that can shift the tide of battle. Best suited for Captains who want to make every bombing pass feel decisive.
Monmouth – British Tier X Cruiser
Sister ship to Gibraltar, Monmouth doubles down on solo offense with two sets of quadruple torpedoes and an enhanced skill set. She excels at holding her own, punishing overextension, and bringing explosive firepower to the fight. A perfect pick for Captains who like to roam independently and strike hard.
Yamashiro – Japanese Tier VII Battleship
Sister ship to Fusō, Yamashiro trades aircraft capability for a purer gunnery experience. Closer in spirit to Ise, she offers solid firepower and a traditional battleship profile—ideal for players who want straightforward, dependable gunnery duels.
Salt Lake City – U.S. Tier VII Cruiser
Closely related to Pensacola and Indianapolis, Salt Lake City brings familiar handling with some refined adjustments. She's a sturdy mid-tier heavy cruiser, offering reliable gunnery and a steady role on the battlefield. Perfect for Captains looking for a classic U.S. cruiser feel.
Jaarsveld – Dutch Tier VIII Cruiser (Techline)
The first step in a new Dutch light cruiser line, Jaarsveld sacrifices protection for mobility and devastating airstrike efficiency. With her high-caliber guns, she can unleash terrifying damage if positioned well. A glass cannon in the truest sense—fragile in defense, monstrous in offense.
Menno van Coehoorn – Dutch Tier IX Cruiser (Techline)
Continuing the line, Menno van Coehoorn pushes the super-light cruiser concept further with improved airstrikes and high-output potential. She demands careful play, rewarding Captains who can maximize her environment for burst damage while avoiding incoming fire.
Utrecht – Dutch Tier X Cruiser (Techline)
The crown jewel of the line, Utrecht perfects the formula: improved mobility, high-caliber main guns, and monstrous airstrike capability. She's fragile but deadly, a ship that can dominate when used with patience and precision.
Black St. Vincent – British Tier X Battleship (Black Ship)
A dark twist on powerful St. Vincent—with faster torpedoes and enhanced skills, Black St. Vincent is a fearsome predator ready to punish opponents who underestimate her.
Disclaimer: While we had initially planned to release Supership aircraft carrier United States in this update, we've decided to postpone her release based on your feedback. Further news will follow in a future update.
Game Mode Adjustments
- Turbo Strike has officially joined the Single Realm lineup. This means more players will be funneled into Turbo Strike battles, which should increase real player encounters and reduce bot appearances.
- Meanwhile, Respawn has been rotated out of Single Realm for now.
We'll be keeping an eye on feedback and match quality as these changes roll out.
UI & Quality-of-Life Tweaks
- Updated Frames menu—the default frame will now show first.
- Portrait UI has been adjusted so the button no longer covers your portrait and frame.
- Progression bundle icon now appears in the Port (if bundles are live), making them easier to find.
- Controls screen received an upgrade, with new pop-ups explaining each setting in plain language.
Port Optimizations
We've optimized several Ports to improve loading speed and performance:
- Dragon
- Saint Petersburg
- Zipangu
- Hamburg

- Space Station
