In December, we drew inspiration from the unforgiving conditions of winter warfare with our Frozen Frontlines theme. This month’s content pays tribute to the resilience and strategy required to endure battles in frigid seas. From icy-themed camouflages to ships that participated in historic winter campaigns—we’ll honor them all. Frozen Frontlines captures the grit and determination of those who fought amidst the snow and ice. Get ready to experience conflicts that will send chills of excitement down your spine as you command ships built to weather the toughest of seasons.

January: Cartoon Creations

Starting the new year with a dash of humor, January’s Cartoon Creations theme brings some light-hearted fun to the battlefield! Imagine those epic naval encounters... but with a bit more "animated" charm. Who says naval warfare can’t have a touch of whimsy? Prepare to conquer the seas, perhaps with a smirk, as the Cartoon Creations content rolls out and proves that even admirals need a laugh now and then!

February: Honor and Bravery

February’s theme, Honor and Bravery, takes a reflective turn, connecting the heroism of naval history with in-game content. In honor of the legendary USS San Francisco’s release, we pay tribute to the valor of her crew during the Battle of Guadalcanal in World War II. Players can meet two extraordinary historical figures, Daniel J. Callaghan and Captain Cassin Young, who are being introduced as Commanders in the game. Admiral Callaghan led the crew of San Francisco with unwavering resolve and ultimately gave his life in the face of overwhelming odds. Captain Cassin Young, a Medal of Honor recipient, demonstrated immense courage in protecting his ship and crew, serving as a symbol of bravery under fire. Through this month’s content, we honor their sacrifices and bring their legacy to life for players to explore and admire.

New Event: Regatta – Piece Together Your Victory!

Set sail in our latest event, Regatta, where strategy and persistence unlock valuable rewards. Take on mission-based challenges displayed as a puzzle, with each piece representing a set of missions. Complete enough tiles to earn powerful rewards, and finish the entire puzzle to secure the final grand reward!

Event Overview:

• Puzzle-Based Progression: The Regatta's main page features a puzzle with each tile representing a mission group. Complete missions to unlock tiles, gradually revealing the image and progressing you toward the grand reward.
• Ship and Final Rewards: Finish specific "key" tiles to unlock unique rewards, and complete the entire puzzle to claim the exclusive final reward!
• Accessible From the Port: Once the event launches, access it from the new Regatta portal on your Port screen.

How to Participate:

1. Unlocking Tiles: Each tile contains either a single mission or a main mission with sub-missions. Completing these missions unlocks the tile and reveals part of the puzzle.
   • Mission Types: Some tiles feature a main mission with sub-missions that must be completed first, while others may only require a single mission completion.
   • Ship and Mode Requirements: Certain missions must be completed with specific ship tiers, types, or game modes.
2. Track Your Progress: Each tile has a progress bar to help you see how close you are to completion. Once a tile’s mission is finished, a message will prompt you to claim the reward and reveal the tile.
3. Unlock Conditions: Not all tiles are available immediately. Some will unlock after a few days or only after other tiles are completed, adding a layer of strategy to your progress.

Instant Finish Option:

• For players looking to accelerate their progress, an Instant Finish feature is available, allowing tiles to be unlocked immediately with in-game currencies.
  • Complete Individual or All Tiles: You can choose to unlock specific tiles or finish all remaining tiles at once. If you choose to unlock all tiles, only unrevealed tiles will incur a cost.
  • Discounts: "Instant Finish" discounts may be available later in the event.

Event Flexibility:

• Each Regatta event is unique, with customizable missions, target values, ship types, and game modes. This flexibility ensures that every Regatta event offers a fresh and engaging experience.

New Game Mode: Tournament – Prove Your Skill, Earn More Rewards!

Test your mettle in our brand-new Tournament mode, where each match brings greater rewards and challenges!

• How to Join: Access the Tournament mode from the Battle Mode selection screen. Entry into the Tournament requires a specified amount of in-game currency.
• Win and Progress: Earn increasingly valuable rewards for each victory you claim in the tournament.
• End Conditions: The Tournament session will conclude once you reach a set number of wins or losses. To continue, simply re-enter the mode by unlocking it again with currency.

Prepare yourself for intense competition, tactical gameplay, and the thrill of climbing to the top!

New Global Shell Effect – Add Flare to All Battles!

Similarly to the existing Space camouflages, you can now equip your ship with exclusive camouflages that add special visual effects to shells in battle!

• Special Effect Shells: With a special camo (such as Frozen Frontlines) applied to your ship, all shells fired by you and other players will feature unique effects visible only to you, bringing vivid and refreshing visual flair to your battles!
• Visibility: Only players with the camo applied will see the global shell effects. Players with no special camo applied will see the game's standard shell visuals.
• Switchable Display: You can toggle the global shell effect on or off via the camo switch. Other players need to have a global shell camo applied to see the special visual effects for shells.

Play in style with global shells—add a burst of expression to your battles!

New Map: Colorful Islands – Navigate a Vibrant Battlefield!

Sail among the Colorful Islands, our latest map designed for thrilling encounters and strategic play. This stunning, vibrant map brings new tactical opportunities to the high seas!

• Game Mode: Domination – capture and hold key areas to secure victory.
• Availability: Playable in Random Battles and the Training Room.
• Tier Access: Available for Tier VII to X ships, including Superships.

Set sail with the new Commonwealth Cruiser Techline, featuring uneven-tier ships from I to IX. Known for their powerful HE shells and excellent fire-starting potential, these cruisers are built to dominate through sheer firepower.

Unique Combat Instruction: Spark

• Activation Method: Unlike previous Combat Instructions that required hits, this skill is triggered by starting a certain number of fires on enemy ships, leveraging the Commonwealth cruisers’ very fiery HE shells.

Playstyle Tips:

• Purely Offensive: The "Combat Instruction: Spark" skill offers no defensive benefits, so timing is key. Activate the skill when you have a clear firing opportunity to maximize damage output.
• Strategic Use of Crawling Smoke Generator: Use smoke carefully to stay concealed while increasing your accuracy, making the most of each shot during the skill’s active duration.

German Tier VIII Cruiser Blücher
A sister ship to Prinz Eugen, Blücher has balanced adjustments with improved main gun HE performance and range, as well as improved AA capabilities. However, this comes with a longer reload time.

British Tier VIII Destroyer Eskimo
A sister ship to Cossack, Eskimo features strengthened main guns and torpedoes, reduced concealment, and significantly improved skill combo strength.

Pan-Asian Tier IX Cruiser Tianjin
An upgraded version of Riga, Tianjin features improved mobility, enhanced AA, and increased main gun accuracy with balanced damage adjustments. Equipped with a high-precision Scout Plane skill, she excels as a long-range cruiser focused on delivering consistent damage.

Soviet Tier IX Battleship Navarin
Navarin compensates for limited torpedo protection and mobility with her good concealment and an array of secondaries that excel at starting fires. She’s well-suited for medium-range combat engagements.

British Tier IX Destroyer Somme
A sister ship to Jutland, Somme features balanced adjustments with increased main gun damage at the cost of an extended reload time.

European Tier IX Battleship Karl XIV Johan
A highly versatile and solid ship inspired by German battleship designs, Karl XIV Johan is equipped with main guns, automatic secondaries, and torpedoes, making her adaptable to various combat scenarios.

Italian Tier X Battleship Sicilia
An upgraded version of Cristoforo Colombo, Sicilia trades SAP for standard rounds in her main guns but makes up for this with her powerful SAP automatic secondaries—ideal for close-quarters combat. Her 4X4 main gun setup ensures reliable damage output.

American Tier IX Destroyer Halford
An aviation destroyer and the only destroyer carrying bombers, Halford offers versatility and a unique playstyle. With solid overall stats, she’s challenging to master but provides a high fun factor for skilled players.

Dutch Tier X Cruiser Prins van Oranje
An upgraded version of Gouden Leeuw, Prins van Oranje features a stylish camo with unique airstrike effects. While the main gun caliber is reduced—lowering her HE damage—the ship gains improved range and accuracy. Her Airstrike damage is boosted, but it has a longer cooldown.

Pan-Asian Tier X Cruiser Western Dragon
A sister ship to Venezia, Western Dragon boasts enhanced main guns with HE rounds replacing SAP, resulting in increased range and overall output. She now has deepwater torpedoes, balanced with slightly reduced damage.

A sister ship to Lenin, Northern Dragon comes with enhanced AA, improved speed, and increased AP output from her main guns.
