Revised Missions, a Team Skirmish Leaderboard, matchmaking optimization, plenty of ship rebalancing, and so much more—Update 2.3 is full of exciting changes!
Revised Missions
- The mission UI has undergone significant improvements. Now you can look forward to a new set of daily and weekly missions, with rewards for completing them and for collecting mission points!
- You will now have the possibility to choose from a range of mission objectives and prioritize the missions you would like to do first!
- In the Mission overview, the Challenges tab and Daily missions tab have been merged into a new and improved Mission menu.
- Daily missions reset every 24 hours, weekly missions reset every 7 days. You can also find the reset timers in the challenges UI above the mission categories.
- A total of 9 missions can be displayed at any given time.
- You must accept missions before fulfilling them, there are 2 slots available by default, but you have the opportunity to acquire a 3rd slot through activating Premium.
- Before fulfilling a Mission, it must be accepted in order to receive the corresponding rewards.
- You can find more details on a mission by selecting it, from there you can choose whether to accept it or not. If you don’t have a vacant slot for a new mission, then you will be reminded that you have reached the limit and will not be able to accept a new mission.
- You can remove a mission by selecting deactivate in the mission UI. The mission will then return to the list below.
- If you wish to deactivate a mission and replace it with another, the progress on that previously accepted mission will be saved until the next refresh!
- You can refresh missions for free once a day, each mission refreshed thereafter will cost 100 gold.
- Rewards for missions are displayed in the mission details UI. When you complete a mission, click to claim your rewards!
- With every mission you complete, you will also receive mission points. By collecting mission points, you will be able to open a crate that contains additional rewards!
- If you receive more than the required missions points to open a crate, these will be carried over to your next crate.
Team Skirmish Leaderboards
- In Team Skirmish, you will now be able to track performance and see which Top Players, Fleets and Ships are dominating via our brand-new Team Skirmish leaderboard!
- You will be able to access this leaderboard via the battle mode UI, by tapping the leaderboard icon in the Team Skirmish category.
- The ranking rules are as follows:
Top players: Victories>win rate>Player ID (only top 100)
Top Fleets: Victories>win rate >Player ID (only top 100)
Top Ships: Victories>win rate>Player ID (only top 10)
- During special events, there will also be additional rewards up for grabs!
- The Leaderboard will refresh every minute.
Matchmaking Optimization
- Based on community feedback and analysis, the matchmaking algorithm has been optimized to create fairer matches based on tier. As matchmaking systems are highly complex, we cannot guarantee a perfect match up for every battle, however, we understand this is important for our community and we are committed to taking steps to improve it.
Kill Feed Animation
- When a player is killed in battle, the kill information will now be displayed via a new and improved kill animation. This will now appear more prominently in the upper middle part of the screen for every player participating in the battle. Additionally, this information will be relayed in the chat in the form of a kill feed.
- An icon that indicates how a ship was destroyed, will be displayed in the chat kill feed.
New Map: Sea of Fortune
- We will introduce a new map - Sea of Fortune!
- This is a Domination mode map available from Tier VIII to Tier X.
- Control points are surrounded by many small islands, creating the perfect arena for destroyer dogfights.
- Most of the islands will not block your line of sight, so you will be able to deal out long range fire over them.
Premium Ship Bonus Info in Shop
- Premium ship bonuses will be highlighted at the bottom of the Premium Ship tab in the shop, clearly indicating if they give an extra ship slot, have a silver or XP bonus, and more.

- Server time will now be displayed in your port.

- Large Caliber AA range was increased from 3.6 km to 3.78 km
- Small Caliber AA Damage was increased from 92 to 128
- Air Defense Alert cannot be used in battle anymore
- Smoke Generator can be used 3 times per battle
U.S. Tier IX DD Fletcher
- Torpedo damage was increased from 3,500 to 3,600
- Torpedo Flooding Chance was increased from 18% to 20%
- Air Defense Alert I was replaced with skill Air Defense Alert II
U.S. Tier X DD Gearing
With these changes, our goal is to help Gearing survive longer in DD dogfights, but also reduce the chance of over-penetration while matched up against high caliber AP shells.
- Belt Armor was increased from 16 mm to 21 mm
- Smoke Generator II can be used 3 times per battle, instead of 2 times per battle
- Torpedo Tube Reload Time was decreased from 56 s to 54.4 s
- Torpedo Range was increased from 8.4 km to 8.7 km

Aigle now has the same 550 mm torpedoes that French Tier VI cruisers use, which gives this French destroyer a fairer matchup against bigger ships

- Torpedo Tube Reload Time was decreased from 50 s to 40 s
- Torpedo Tube Traverse Speed was increased from 20 degree/s to 24 degree/s
Premium U.S.S.R. Tier VII DD Leningrad
Leningrad’s medium range torpedo (6 km) doesn’t have the same reload speed buff as her sister ship - Minsk, so we decided to buff it through other attributes.
- HP was increased from 13,100 to 13,700
- Main Battery Firing Range was increased from 7.8 km to 8.1 km
- Max Traverse Speed was increased from 8.1 degree/s to 8.6 degree/s
- Engine Accelerator I was replaced with Engine Accelerator II

Bug Fixes
- The flag for Italian ships in the Service Record is now displayed correctly.
- Helena’s Main Battery details have been updated from 3x3 to 5x3, in order to reflect the correct number of main guns she has.
- The propellers on Tier III Turenne, Tier IV Courbet, and Tier V Bretagne will now be displayed.
- The voice lines that come with the Napoleon portrait have been corrected.
